World Class Vineyards

Martinborough is renowned for its award winning wines, so whilst you're here, a visit to the cellar doors is a must. Hire a bike from Green Jersey Tours if you're feeling active, or simply shuttle out and spend the afternoon with cellar door tastings. Martinborough Wine Tours offer a great half day or guided wine tour to take in the region’s highlights.

The beauty of Martinborough’s vineyards is that they are typically locally owned and operated, small scale, offering you the chance to speak to the winemaker themselves and have a genuinely unique experience. There are so many to choose from, have a look at On Giant’s Shoulders for their stunning intimate cellar door right in the vines, Ata Rangi for their beautiful, organic Pinot Noir from their family run vineyard or Moy Hall if you want to enjoy a beautiful lunch with your tasting. Full list of the local vineyards can be found here.
