Suites & Rooms
Twenty beautiful rooms, every one unique. Make yourself at home in the original 1882 building in one of our nine Heritage Suites or Rooms, or at the Petit Hotel Suites located adjacent to the main Hotel. Take a wander through the garden and courtyard just beyond the lobby and enjoy the tranquility of seven spacious Garden Suites finished in a restful, simple country style. Our Superior Garden Suite is spacious, up a private flight of stairs and overlooks our garden from a private verandah.
Whether you choose history or a more contemporary feel, there’s utmost comfort throughout; plumpy armchairs, fine quality bed linen, our special range of toiletries and of course a very comfortable bed.
All of our Suites and Rooms include fine quality bed linen, complimentary mineral water, tea and coffee making facilities, local juice, Smart TVs, mini fridge, hair dryers, iron and ironing board.
Heritage Suites
Our Heritage Suites are a mix of old world charm with accents of contemporary decor. Larger in size than a Heritage Room, with Super King beds, the suites are located in the original hotel building, featuring aged wooden floors, luxurious Persian rugs, Chinese porcelain and some feature deep old fashioned clawfoot tubs. Throw open the French doors and view the historical picturesque Martinborough Square, and vibrant village life below. The perfect romantic getaway.
Heritage Room
Part of the original hotel, our Heritage Rooms overlook the vibrant Martinborough Wine Village and picturesque courtyard. Utmost comfort awaits, with Queen size beds, fine quality bed linen, and walk-in showers or clawfoot baths. Step through the French doors onto the wrapping balcony and take a seat on the rattan chairs to see stunning views from any side of the hotel.
Superior Garden Suite
Located up a flight of stairs is our spacious carpeted Superior Garden Suite. A private balcony awaits, with sun loungers overlooking the gardens. This suite is over 40sqm of pure luxury with a Super-King bed, sofa and desk, air-conditioner/heat pump and has a large tiled walk-in shower and a clawfoot tub.
Garden Suites
The spacious Garden Suites open onto a peaceful private garden courtyard featuring white roses and a huge walnut tree. Suites are carpeted throughout, all with air-conditioning/heat pumps and individually decorated with contemporary furnishings and large tiled walk-in showers. Some suites interconnect, and are ideal for families traveling together. All large enough to include rollaway beds. Each room has a Super King size bed, which can be separated into two twin beds.
Petit Rooms
Rooms in our neighbouring Petit Hotel are tastefully decorated and each in different theme - Manhatten, Provence, Devon and Tuscany. The character of the original building has been preserved by retaining original features such as the pressed tin ceilings, high ceiling studs, architraves, original wooden staircase and rimu floors. Each individually designed room has a queen-sized bed, marbled tiles, under-floor heating, air conditioning/heat pumps and some with clawfoot baths with shower.
